All new from Atexxo Manufacturing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, 10.9 inch with 5G now suitable for use in hazardous locations. The explosion proof Samsung Android Tablets are originally manufactured by Samsung than converted and certified according to the ATEX directives by Atexxo Manufacturing. This makes the Tablets suited for safe use in gas/vapor zone 2 and dust zone 22 hazardous locations. ATEX Zone 2 / Zone 22 is the European equivalent for US, NEC Class 1 Division 2 equipment (C1D2) Groups A, B, C, D, F & G.
Compliance with ATEX / EX regulations is achieved by modification of the casing together with the intrinsically safe electrical circuit, which makes the tablets suitable for safe use in hazardous locations. Nearly all features of the original product are preserved, except for the fingerprint scanner. Passive stylus is available on request for touch with glove operations.
The ATEX Android Samsung 10.9 inch tablet comes with a aluminum case finish and is available for both the WIFI only models and the WIFI + Cellular 5G models. Beside safe use as explosion proof tablet, both versions are excellent for use as intrinsically safe video and/or photo camera.
